With Christmas just around the corner, I wanted to share with you my 2019 Dogs Christmas gift guide. The guide includes products that Shiva and Bunter have tried, tested and loved this year all from brands that we use and will continue to use in our family. I hope that this Christmas gift guide will help to inspire you when it comes to finding that pawfect gift for the four legged love/s in your life and really get their tail wagging this Christmas.
A Delicious Christmas Dinner
As you sit down to eat your own Christmas dinner this year, why not serve your dog a delicious and nutritious dog friendly Christmas dinner too.
The wonderful team over at Cotswold Raw have created a Christmas dinner recipe for our much loved dogs. The recipe uses organic and free range turkey and chicken, with the addition of duck and seasonal vegetables.
Shiva and Bunter have been extremely spoilt and have sampled more than a few different dishes available from Cotswold Raw this year, all of which they have visibly enjoyed. Yet I can honestly say that the Christmas Dinner is by far the best dinner they have ever eaten.

For Serving Christmas Dinner
Does your dog tend to hurry their meals? If so what better way to help with their digestion and encourage them to savour their tasty dish, than by serving it in a slow feed bowl from Olive and Berry, (matching water bowl available).
Both the feed bowl and the water bowl come in either a pale pink or pale blue.
The bone shape in the middle of the feeding bowl is designed to prevent overeating and indigestion problems. This bowl has really helped to slow down our greedy Dalmatians eating habits! Additionally the bowl has a cooling feature to keep your dogs food fresh for hours. This is especially useful if like us you feed wet food. All you need to do is cool the bowl in cold water for up to 60 seconds.
Tasty Treats
The majority of us enjoy the occasional treat, so why not stock up on some festive treats for your dogs to enjoy.
Our friends over at Cotswold Raw have created a festive treat selection, “Arthur’s 12 days of Christmas” containing naturally air dried meat treats which make pawfect snacks or tea time treats with the benefit of helping to keep teeth and gums healthy.

Shiva and Bunter can’t believe their luck when they get to pick out a treat from this selection. Bunter generally decides on one of the biggest of the treats and will still be chewing on it long after Shiva has finished hers, leaving Shiva looking on and drooling.

Looking Smart when Out & About
Has your dogs collar seen better days? If so why not take a look at the lovely Polo-style Dog Collar & Lead selection from Pioneros. You could even get yourself a belt to match!
Bunter is often complemented on his Pioneros collar and I think you can tell by the look on his face he knows he looks smart.
You can get 10% off by using code pionemma at the checkout.

Staying Wrapped up Warm
Does your dog/s feel the cold or dislike the rain?
Our two really feel the cold, and Bunter particularly hates getting wet; as such we’ve keep them wrapped up warm and dry in a variety of different jumpers and coats during the colder months. They never leave the house without being dressed for the day ahead.
The Dals have tried and tested many different styles and the below are our recommendations.
For those dry chilly days both in and out of the house. We love the wool jumpers by Peregrine.

On wet days it has to be a Barbour Waxed Jacket. You can get some that have a lining in them making them versatile for both cold and wet days. See full details in this previous post.

Trespaws offer a wide variety of dog coats; there is something for every dogs needs, from warmth, waterproof to full on body suit! Both Bunter and Shiva have a coat from here and they are super cosy with a great fit to them.

2020 Adventures
Our dogs enjoy a change of scene just as much as we do, so why not treat them and yourself to a few days away? A gift where all the family can benefit. My top go to providers for dog friendly holiday inspiration are:
And lastly for when all the Christmas Cheer gets too much
How about a new bed to snuggle down in to.
I really like the Slogan range from Olive & Berry, particularity as they are environmentally friendly (made out of recycled plastic bottles) and come with one of the below fun embroidered slogans on the side.
1. I’ve Had A Ruff Day
2. Eat. Sleep. Bark. Repeat.
3. Shhh…I’m Sleeping

Some of the items in this post have been previously gifted. They are tried and tested and I can wholeheartedly recommend them, alongside the items getting the paws up from The Dals of course!
All very inspirational for our Xmas and four legged friends.
I find your blogs easy to read fun and photographs exceptional but I am your dad so probably biased .
That said I always look forward to next one.
